Join ACTIN's Community Initiatives
Solidarity Café
Our community based Solidarity Cafés in Roscommon, Ireland, are welcoming, community-focused spaces designed to support and integrate young refugees and migrants. Through cultural activities, workshops, and shared experiences, the café fosters inclusion and belonging.
We are currently finalising plans to launch our Cafes in early 2025, but we would love to hear from volunteers.
How You Can Help:

Assist with organising workshops, social events, and activities.

Share your skills: lead a session on art, cooking, storytelling, or other areas.

Language Buddy Programme
The Language Buddy Programme connects community volunteers with young refugees and migrants to help improve their conversational language skills in a relaxed, supportive environment.
We are currently finalising plans to launch our Buddy Scheme in early 2025, but we would love to hear from volunteers.
